FCF MOPS is a fun-loving, friendly group of moms who enjoy getting together for games, laughter, great food, speakers, encouragement, and relationship-building, while our kids enjoy the quality childcare programs. If you are a mom of a preschooler (birth through kindergarten) and are looking for a supportive, welcoming community, you've come to the right place!
2011-2012 Theme:
The MOPS Experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. One key factor in the MOPS Experience is the relationships built within a group. Time and time again, MOPS moms share that the friends they make in MOPS are significant for this season of their life and on into their future. God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human.
However, when you become a mom, all your relationships change. There are so many demands on your time and energy. There are so many things to worry about: Should my baby be on a schedule? Is my house child-proof? When should I potty train? Am I making healthy food for my family? Is our family going to make it in this recession? Do I have any real friends anymore? Am I going to lose myself in the middle of all this hard work?
The 2011-2012 MOPS Year is going to be great! Join us for food, friendship, and relevant topics while our kids are being cared about in our Moppets Child Care Program! We talk, play games, make crafts, and just generally support each other as friends! This year our focus is going to be on becoming more bold, sensible, and loving! Developing a mothering strategy is somewhat like playing a game — and this year’s theme is appropriately game related. Have fun being a mom! Playing games involves being bold and taking risks, loving those in the game with us and being sensible while figuring out what works and what doesn’t. Join us to see how you can better develop your MOMSENSE!
